Dr Nicole Kerr, MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Nicole Kerr graduated from The Flinders University of South Australia in 2002. Additionally, she has been a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2007. Dr Kerr joined Hamilton Family Practice in 2018.

Dr Kerr has a keen interest in all aspects of general practice.

Dr Kerr’s clinical expertise include

  • Womens health issues
  • Substance abuse – assist with recovery
  • Indigenous health

On Dr. Kerr’s days off you will find her meandering around the hills of the Grampians or the walks along the creeks and lakes.

Dr Joshua Espanta, MBBS

Dr Joshua Espanta graduated from Angelo University, Philippines a in 1997. After having his own practice in the Philippines for years Dr. Espanta decided to immigrate to Sydney Australia, where he was second-in-charge and a Trainer at St Vincent’s Hospital. He has been registered with AHPRA since 2010.

Dr Espanta relocated to Portland, Victoria in 2015 and has been a general practitioner at Hamilton Family Practice since May 2020.

Dr Espanta has a keen interest in all aspects of general practice.

Dr Espanta’s clinical expertise include

  • Implanon Removals and insertions
  • Skin cancer
  • Minor Surgeries

On Dr. Espanta days off he loves playing a round of golf, spending time with family and travelling.

Dr Bihan De Silva, MBBS

is passionate about general practice and has special interests in dermatology and Paediatrics,

    Dr Bihan De Silva graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenapura in Sri Lanka. He worked as a General Practitioner in Sri-Lanka and obtained a Diploma in Family Medicine. He is a member of the  Royal College of General Practitioners a postgraduate medical qualification awarded in the United Kingdom. He has also worked in Oman as a GP for the ministry of Health.  In previous roles he has been a medical council member, mentor GP and international examiner to MRCGP South Asia board.

    Dr Bihan is a veteran athlete in Sri Lanka and still throws the Javelin. his two sons are also keen athletes.  Dr Bihan loves listening to music and travelling n his leisure time.

    Dr Pubuduni Panangala, MBBS

    is a devoted and compassionate medical professional with a global background and a heart for holistic care.

    Dr Pubuduni started her medical journey at the University of science and technology, Chittagong, Bangladesh, where she obtained her MBBS degree. Since then, she has served diverse communities, spending over 7 years in Sri Lanka and later continuing to practice in Oman for two and half years.

    In July 2024 she completed her MRCGP qualification through the Royal College of General Practitioners UK, a milestone that reflects my commitment to high quality, patient centred care.

    Dr Pubuduni’ s empathy, simplicity, and respect contribute to her professional medical approach. She believes in treating the whole person not just the illness and supporting all her patients through all stages of life with kindness, understanding and positive outlook.

    Outside of work Dr Pubuduni is a happy soul who enjoys singing, gardening, and cooking. Her life’s moto is simple;

    Do good and good will come to you“.

    Dr Wahida Goni Tania, MBBS

    is an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages with a strong background in general practice and hospital medicine, and a genuine commitment to holistic, patient-centred care. She has served diverse communities both in Bangladesh and Australia, gaining broad experience on  preventive healthcare, accurate diagnosis, and long-term management of chronic conditions.

    She is fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi, helping her communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

    Dr Tania’s empathy, clear communication, and respectful approach define her medical practice. She believes in treating the whole person, not just the illness, and supporting her patients at every stage of life with understanding, kindness, and a positive outlook. She believes in building strong doctor–patient relationships, listening carefully to her patients’ concerns, and supporting them to make informed decisions about their health.

    Outside of work, Dr Tania enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and engaging in activities that support wellbeing and balance. Her life philosophy is simple:
